Engine & Race Preparation

Rebuilt by Iain “Danny” Daniels with V63 Kent Racing Cams - BHP up from  standard 135bhp to 170bhp - weight reduced  to 1070 Kg (from 1253Kg).
 

Transmission
Ford Capri 4 speed gear box replacing original 4 speed box with Laycock over-drive.
Sierra Cosworth Clutch converted from  hydraulic to cable operation
Shortened prop-shaft
Crown Wheel and Pinion from Daimler limousine (3.54:1 ratio from 3.31:1) and limited slip differential from Jaguar
Lowered Watts Linkage to reduce ride height by 1.5ins.


Brakes
Rear drum brakes replaced with Calipers from a Rover 825 Vitesse (refurbished by “BigRed”) and Yellow Stuff Pads from EBM
Front brakes upgraded to Wilwood Superlites with Ferodo DS3000 Pads
Servo removed to single train brakes for better “feel”

 

Carburettor
Weber 40DFI (from Ferrari 365GTC) uprated from standard Weber 38DGAS

 

Wheels & Tyres
Refurbished original Wolfrace slot-mag alloys
Black Gloss for Dry tyres - Yokohama Advan AO38 195/60R14 (from original 185HR14)
Polished Wolfrace for Wet tyres - Dunlop SP Sport D84J

 

Bodywork
Painted in Leyland Snowberry White with black GT stripes.   Front spoiler is from Sierra XR4i front bumper slightly adjusted to fit. Rear bumper a period upgrade from  Will Sparrow.
